flok Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by inherited disorders of protein metabolism.
Our Mission
We provide resources, community events, a mobile app for nutrition tracking, and fund research to advance care for conditions including:
- PKU (Phenylketonuria)
- Classical HCU (Homocystinuria)
- MSUD (Maple Syrup Urine Disease)
- Tyrosinemia
- Organic Acidemias
- Urea Cycle Disorders
From National PKU News to flok
Founded in 1989 as National PKU News, we rebranded to flok Health in July 2023 to better reflect our expanded mission of serving all inherited disorders of protein metabolism.
